Sources at CNN have reported that a foreign entity hacked the computers of John McCain and Barack Obama respective campaigns before the election in an effort to gain future policy knowledge. According to a source within the Obama campaign, agents from the FBI and Secret Service came to the office and said, “You have a problem way bigger than what you understand ... you have been compromised, and a serious amount of files have been loaded off your system.“ This was mid-summer, and after the government brought the breach to the campaigns’ attention, private investigators were hired. It is believed that the identity of the foreign entity is known but is not being revealed yet for political reasons, I mean due to an ongoing investigation.
