I definitely wouldn’t call myself an “American Idol” fan. I did tune in a few times this year just to see what they were singing, and to look at Jason Castro, for a few minutes. And I was actually pleasantly surprised to see that they actually had some good music to pick from this year ... I saw two episodes where they chose from Beatles songs. And it is sometimes entertaining to see Paula’s pill/booze induced comments and Simon’s cruelty. But it annoys me how obsessed some people get.

I visited americanidol.com this morning just to see who was the last to be voted off, of course it was in my opinion the most unique performer (Jason Castro), but the comments some people make about the shows and performers is so nauseating and pathetic that I just had to share some. I only looked under Jason Castro’s page and found all of these geniuses that care way too much about him and the show:

I’m praying someday those of you who don’t “get it” will see the light. All the angels in Heaven are crying from the way Jason was treated. My family and I will never watch AI again. In my opinion the show is not fun entertainment, and inappropriate for children and adults alike.
