Alanis Morissette is holding a karaoke contest on MySpace through July 13. Record your own version of a song from her last album, “Flavors of Entanglement,” and she’ll choose winners to win prizes that include tickets to her concert and an autographer microphone.

I checked it out just to see the bad versions of Alanis songs, but there are actually some pretty good karaoke versions. Of course, most people aren’t following the rules and are recording “Uninvited” and “Ironic,” but some of them are actually good.
