Michael Phelps returns to tank at Sea World
Carla Merrill The Corner News published August 21, 2008
Michael Phelps is really a 200-pound aquatic mammal. With all of the medals he’s won, you may actually believe that Olympican swimmer Michael Phelps lives in the water. Check out this write-up in The Onion which claims, “Phelps, the 6’4”, 200-pound aquatic mammal, and the first ever SeaWorld swimmer to be raised in captivity by foster swimmers (Mark Spitz and Dara Torres), was recaptured by trainer Bob Bowman in a hoop net baited with an entire Dutch apple pie following Phelps’ final Olympic event last Sunday.” It’s pretty funny.
