A friend sent me this link and it is hilarious! A woman gave her card to a guy and he leaves two messages on her phone that you have to hear to believe. You don't have to wonder why she didn't call him back.
Almost anytime I'm on an airplane or go to a grocery store, I think about Jerry Seinfeld's stand-up routine. If you've never seen his older stand-up or the last time he told those jokes on the HBO special, "I'm Telling You For the Last Time," you have to check it out ... it's still funny to me every time:
Alanis Morissette is holding a karaoke contest on MySpace through July 13. Record your own version of a song from her last album, "Flavors of Entanglement," and she'll choose winners to win prizes that include tickets to her concert and an autographer microphone.
I checked it out just to see the bad versions of Alanis songs, but there are actually some pretty good karaoke versions. Of course, most people aren't following the rules and are recording "Uninvited" and "Ironic," but some of them are actually good.
