Located outside the south gate of the LSU stadium, Bogie’s Bar has been a popular nightlife spot since 1994.
For those of you making the drive to Baton Rouge, La., to watch Auburn take on LSU, The Corner has a list of a few places you should visit for food and drinks.

Located next door to popular spot The Varsity Theatre, and close to the LSU stadium, The Chimes is a local favorite. The restaurant serves fish, steak, sandwiches, poboys, pasta and Cajun staples like Crawfish Etouffee and Red Beans & Rice with Sausage. Price range is from around $8 to $20. The Chimes is also known for its extensive beer selection and beer mixes and also offers a full bar.

The founders, two walk-ons for the LSU basketball team in the '90s, created the concept of the restaurant and bar while traveling throughout the SEC. The guys claim the food is much more than "pub grub," and offers a menu that includes seafood, pasta, burgers, wraps, sandwiches and Cajun specialties that include Cajundillas and a Crispy Crawfish Salad. Prices for entrees range from around $8 to $15.

Set up in the style of the '50s cafe, Louie's Café serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 24 hours a day. Louie's is located at the north gates of the LSU stadium and has been there since 1941. The café serves breakfast combos that include pancakes, hasbrowns, English muffins and more. They also serve omelets, pancakes and waffles with toppings. For those not in the mood for breakfast, Louie's also offers burgers, sandwiches, poboys, seafood and dinner specials that include steak, pork chops and more. Breakfast and dinner prices range from around $8 to $15.

Fred’s has been a popular college hangout for the last 20 years. The bar caters to the 20 and older crowd and features a stage, dance floor and large outside patio area. The bar occasionally offers an “open bar” special that costs $10 to drink all you can within the time frame.

Located near the north gates of the LSU stadium, The Varsity is a popular concert venue, but with a large dance floor and weekly drink specials it is also a popular nightlife spot. The venue has brought in more then 55 Grammy winning artists since its doors opened in 1991. On Saturday, there will be drink specials and no cover until the game starts. The game will be shown on two giant screens, and food will also be available.
