Last Transgression’s goal is to irratate those who believe corporate radio rock rules the world.
The band is Last Transgression. Their stated goal: “to provide constant irritation to all who believe boring, corporate, radio rock rules the world.” And when the amps are turned to 11, these long-haired guitar shredding pop-irritants turn actions to words.
Hailing from Prattville, Ala., Last Transgression was formed in 1994 by a group of young, die-hard metal fans dedicated to the cause and they have been shredding ever since. Though they’ve gone through a number of lineup changes since their inception, they have always embraced metal as an alternative to mainstream pop music and have held tight to the musical intensity of their youth.
The Jackson guitar swinging guys from Last Transgression are all veterans of the Montgomery metal scene where they have been playing to a solid fan base for years at clubs like Head on the Door.
Last Transgression has had songs featured on a Lifeless Records mix and have released a number of independently produced and distributed heavy metal CD’s since beginning more than 10 years ago. The group is currently at work writing new material for a TBD release.
The group will be playing The Independent, the center of the Auburn metal scene, on March 26. Check out
