At 37 years old, Wyclef Jean tries to picture himself as somewhat of an a musical geezer, he even goes so far as to pronounce that, “I’m too old to rap” on his second tune, “Warrior’s Anthem.” And while he’s come quite a ways since his days with The Fugees, he can still pack a wallop.
His new album draws on the sounds of his past, but also on his current interest in writing and producing. The album also features appearances from some of the biggest names in hip-hop, including Lil’ Kim and Timbaland.
