Standouts - “Welcome to England,” “Not Dying Today,” “Mary Jane”

“Abnormally Attracted To Sin” is perhaps Tori Amos’ most experimental venture since her 1996 album “Boys for Pele.” Throughout her latest album is a strange, vampiric feeling, reminiscent of the dark, electronic experiments of the late ‘90s. While that may not sound like award winning album material, Amos has placed a great amount of her talent in “Abnormally Attracted To Sin.” And with songs like “Mary Jane,” that exemplify Amos’ vocal and lyrical skills, it is an album worth listening to at least a few times, and it will become at least a guilty pleasure.
