“Rarities, B-Sides And Other Stuff, Volume 2”

Sarah McLachlan “Rarities, B-Sides And Other Stuff, Volume 2”

Standouts - “Blackbird,” “River,” “Pills,” “Angel (Live) (with Emmylou Harris)”

Between albums, Sarah McLachlan tends to tease her fans with releases of covers or unreleased tunes as she has once again done with her newest release, “Rarities, B-Sides and Other Stuff, Volume 2.”

The album contains gorgeous covers of songs like The Beatles’ “Blackbird,” and Joni Mitchell’s “River,” but if you’re a diehard fan, you probably already have those. We do get her haunting duet with The Perishers on “Pills,” which is hard to find, along with a cover of “Unchained Melody” and duets with Emmylou Harris, Bryan Adams and Cindi Lauper.

Until we are graced with a new album, these rarities and B-sides should satisfy fans for a while.
