On the 10th solo studio album from the aging Prince of Darkness, he still manages to impersonate the hellhound that has been on his trail his entire career. But at 61, and despite the aggressive attitude of the album, the ex-Sabbath frontman is beginning to show his age. And having always prided himself on the young guitar prodigies that he has surrounded himself with, “Scream” feels a little flat without the guitar work of Zakk Wylde. In short, a Sabbath reunion may be the only thing that can save us from albums like this in the future.
