Lil Ru “21 & Up”
Standouts - “Nasty Song,” “Problems”

While Lil Ru’s lead single, “Nasty Song,” is truly a nasty song, it’s a great lead into a debut CD. The problem is that the single is so far from what the CD is, it leaves the listener slightly bewildered. From the single, I was expecting a sing-songy, melodic type of CD, but the disc is ... well, way over the top. Just a suggestion, kill all the ad-libs and tone done the production and maybe you’ll have a decent album.
