Kelly Clarkson “All I Ever Wanted”

When searching for the words to sum up Kelly Clarkson’s latest album, “All I Ever Wanted,” all I could come up with was schizophrenic. This CD is all over the place and it’s sad because among the mess that is Kelly Clarkson screaming off alt-rock tracks, are some diamonds in the ruff. She’s at her best when she can use the range of her voice to paint the song’s picture. Obviously she, or her producers, didn’t get that memo because the CD starts with her screaming, instead of singing, the first three songs. It’s not all bad though, as the CD progresses the production and vocals become much more bearable.
