Irish singer/songwriter David Gray scores another acoustic success with his latest album, “Draw the Line.” Gray’s melancholic beauty and knack for storytelling create a highly listenable and enjoyable musical experience. The absence of percussion and the heavy vamping on the dual guitar lines of the title track, “Draw the Line,” intensify the feelings of doubt and uncertainty that Gray conveys through his lyrics. Other songs such as, “Jackdraw,” bring a joyous, uplifiting mood to the album that sticks with the listener long after the album is over.
