Dan Lindley performed an impressive variety of covers at Fat Daddy’s Thursday night.

The calm mood and dim lighting at Fat Daddy’s on Thursday night set the tone for Dan Lindley‘s performance. Lindley flowed from one song to another as the crowd swayed in its seats, all ears on Lindley.

With a brand new Taylor guitar, and a written out set list, Lindley performed an impressive variety of covers that ranged from Hank Williams Jr.’s “Country Boy Can Survive,” to a collection of Breaking Benjamin covers, a crowd favorite.

Lindley incorporated a harmonizer during his show that added extra vocals to his songs. Each cover Lindley performed was polished in a way that fit Lindley’s unique style of old country and new rock perfectly.

Lindley says his favorite thing about playing music is being able to take a song and turn it into an acoustic version of his own and seeing the crowd reaction.

Lindley has been playing in the Auburn area for six years. He plays at Fat Daddy’s, Touchdown’s, Supper Club and occasionally with the Findley Brothers at the Auburn Oyster Bar.

Lindley will be performing at Touchdown’s on Saturday.
