When singer Natalie Maines wasn’t ready to make new music with the Dixie Chicks, sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robinson decided to try something new without her. What developed was a side project and album that brings the duo back closer to their country roots. Inspired in part by Robison’s recent divorce, the album shows a softer side of the women.
