Train “Save Me, San Francisco”
Standouts - “Hey, Soul Sister,” “I Got You,” “Parachute”
“Save Me San Francisco,” the sixth studio album by the San Francisco natives is also their first in four years. Since the last Train album, lead singer Pat Monahan has pursued a solo career that culminated with 2007’s surprisingly good “Last of Seven.” The album, based loosely around the concept of a young rocker looking to find love and settle down, features some relatively solid writing and, although lacking a solid single like those Train released in the early 2000’s, the album is pretty strong.
