Standouts - “Promise Ring,” “I’m Grown,” “Girl Gone Wild,” “Angel on Earth”

Quick, name the last “Star Search” Junior Vocalist Winner to have a successful recording career? You might have trouble coming up with a name since there’s only been one, Tracie Spencer. What does that have to do with Tiffany Evans? She is looking to follow in Spencer’s footsteps with her debut self-titled release. If the first two singles off the album, “Promise Ring” and “I’m Grown” featuring Ciara and Bow Wow respectively, tell anything, it’s that she’s well on her way. As a whole the CD is excellent, but what stands out to me more than anything is the extraordinary vocal ability Evans displays for a teenager.
