There’s probably not a more aptly title CD than Michelle Williams’s second solo release, “Unexpected.” Not only is this CD unexpected, Williams’s decision to sing R&B instead of gospel on this disc is also a surprise. The CD starts a little slow, but the further you get into it the better it gets. While this disc is a departure from her gospel roots and Destiny’s Child type of music, it’s a good offering for her second release and first solo R&B disc.
