Hole “Nobody’s Daughter”
Standouts - “Pacific Coast Highway,” “Letter to God,” “How Dirty Girls Get Clean”
Before she was everyone’s favorite train wreck, Courtney Love’s band, Hole, made aggressive, unapologetic pop music. “Nobody’s Daughter,” the fourth studio album from Hole, has been in the works for a few years now. With writing help from Smashing Pumpkin’s Billy Corgan and songwriter Linda Perry, Love was able to produce a stripped back version of polished, yet raw material that is some of the freshest material the group has produced. Not exactly the ultimate reunion album that Love was hoping for, but a solid effort none the less.
