It’s been five years since Fastball, one of the ‘90s most underrated bands, released their last album. But “Little White Lies,” their fifth studio album in a 15-year career, seems to have been worth the wait. Along the way, the boys of Fastball have managed to squeeze out some big hits and a platinum album, and these slim and trim recordings are an appropriate addition to that catalogue. “Little White Lies” is a powerful album of pop tunes that doesn’t try to be overly inventive, just solid and entertaining.
