Daytime soap opera stars are coming to Macon, Ga., next week to kick off the “Soap Opera Mania on Tour.” They will be invading the Anderson Conference Center on Feb. 7, 2009. Nine soap stars will be on the tour including Christian LeBlanc, Austin Peck, Brandon Beemer, Natalie Livingston, Gina Tognoni, Don Diamont, Julie Pinson, Winsor Harmon and Murray Bartlett.

These actors and actresses play parts on some of the network’s most popular soap operas including “The Young and the Restless,” “As the World Turns,” “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “General Hospital,” “All My Children,” “Guiding Light” and “One Life to Live.”

This tour gives fans the opportunity to mingle with their onscreen obsessions. The tour kickoff is a day long event starting at 11 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. During this time a few lucky fans will be able to participate in simulated acting scenes ripped from the story lines of their favorite daytime soap with the actors and actresses.

The first 300 fans will receive an autographed head shot of each actor or actress, but all who attend will receive a complimentary program with color photos and autographs of the nine actors. Those attending will also get a secret glimpse into the soap opera world when the actors share their secret moments and stories from their experience from working on daytime television.

“Soap Opera Mania on Tour” will hit 30 cities over the course of the year, and they will all include a day long event with the same nine actors and actresses. The year’s efforts will culminate into “Soap Cruise-The Third Voyage.” Winners will be selected from those entered to win at the tour stops. Twenty soap fanatics will win a trip for two for a four-night Caribbean cruise with 16 soap opera stars. Those winners will mingle with the actor and actresses as VIP breakfasts and cocktail parties aboard the ship.

The tickets will be $100 in advance and $125 at the door, so if you are a fan of the daytime soap operas mentioned above head over to Macon, Ga., on Feb. 7, 2009, and meet your favorite soap star.
