Wow. First O.J. Simpson writes a book called “If I Did It.“ Then he fights with the families of those he might have “did it” to, over publishing rights. When he finally reached a settlement and found a publisher sleazy enough to print his book, he chose to print the “If” part of the title in illegibly small print on the book’s cover, causing it to read “I DID IT” from a shelf. That’s classy. And as if the book wouldn’t get people talking already, O.J. had to pull some little “sting-operation” stunt with some of his former football buddies to steal some sports memorabilia out of some random dude’s hotel room. Like that wouldn’t make the news or land him in the slammer. However, I do find it humorous that he also stole random dude’s cell phone. Was he gonna sell it on E-bay? I wonder if he nabbed random’s iPod, too? But on a more serious note, it seems that O.J. is winning again with this plot. “If I Did It” is #2 today on Amazon.com’s best seller list.
